Licenced Immigration & Recruitment

When dealing with employer driven programs for Immigration purposes, please ensure the people you are dealing with are a licenced expert (Certified Professionals) to do what they are supposed to do. If you are dealing with an unlicensed individual, then you are doing so at your own risk. Here are some steps to check licencing.

The Student Herald is a licenced Recruiter for Nova Scotia and offers recruitment services across all Atlantic Provinces.

Polinsys represents your immigration interests through licenced Immigration Practitioners approved by IRCC (Canada Immigration). Check below on how to identify if the individual is licenced.

Keep in mind, Polinsys is also a Canadian Federal Corporation. To search for Canadian corporations, visit the Canadian Federal Corporations site and input this corporation number 755251-3 and click on search.

Please be warned, there are several FAKE sites showing different ICCRC look-alike databases and therefore, always navigate through the Canadian Government Immigration site to search for the ‘real’ ICCRC members.

To check if you are dealing with a licenced Authorized Representative who is approved by the Canadian Immigration Department to represent your application or discuss Immigration please follow the instructions below:

Stage 1: visit the Canada GovT. Immigration Website

Visit the Canada government website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigration-citizenship-representative/choose/authorized.html

Please click on “Find out if your representative is authorized” and click on the first link provided “Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council”

Stage 2: Canadian Regulator Website

You will be taken to the ICCRC home page where you can click on the “Immigration Fraud” tab and select “Verify your Immigration Consultant”

Here please enter ‘Stephen’ in the last name field and ‘joy’ in the first name field and click on the search button. The results are displayed at the bottom of the search button and you will see  ‘Joy Stephen’ as an approved Canadian Authorized Representative in the result with the Status and also the Identification number.

Keep in mind, Polinsys is also a Canadian Federal Corporation. To search for Canadian corporations, visit the Canadian Federal Corporations site and input this corporation number 755251-3 and click on search.
